By signing this agreement, the player and parent/guardian acknowledge they understand and agree to:

Focus Scholars/Lady Scholars AAU Basketball
This agreement establishes the expectations, responsibilities, payment terms, and guidelines for players and parents/guardians participating in the Focus Scholars/Lady Scholars AAU Basketball Program for the 2025–2026 season. Our mission is to develop skilled athletes and leaders while maintaining a respectful, disciplined, and positive environment.

1. Season Term
This agreement covers December 15, 2025 – August 6, 2026, including:
• All practices
• Games and tournaments
• Travel events
• Fundraisers & community functions

2. Player Expectations
Attire & Uniformity
Players must wear official team-issued attire for all activities:
• Official team uniforms
• Team-issued warm-ups
• Matching team shoes (assigned by the program)
Headphones & Devices
Not permitted during:
• Practices
• Games
• Team meetings
• Fundraisers/community events
Practice Policy
Parents/guardians may not enter the gym during official practices.
Respect & Conduct
All players must maintain respect toward coaches, teammates, officials, opponents, and staff.
Disciplinary Action
Misconduct or failure to meet team expectations may result in:
• Verbal/written warnings
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent removal (no refunds)
Game & Event Schedule
Schedules will be provided at least two weeks in advance; Adidas Circuit updates will be communicated promptly by the Director.

3. Parent/Guardian Expectations
• Support coaching staff and team rules.
• Avoid sideline coaching.
• Address concerns respectfully outside of practices/games.
• Ensure the player meets all attire, attendance, and conduct requirements.

4. Financial Terms & Payment Policy
• Season Fee: $1,000 per player
• Deposit: A 25% ($250) non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration to secure the player’s roster spot.
• Balance Payment: The remaining $750 may be paid in monthly installments (e.g., $200 at scheduled intervals) through the website payment portal until the full amount is completed.
• Final Payment Deadline: All fees must be paid in full before April 1, 2026.
• Missed Payments: Any missed payment will result in immediate termination of the player’s participation and cancellation of this agreement. All amounts paid prior to termination are non-refundable.
• Rejoining Fee: If a player leaves the team and decides to return later, a $200 rejoining fee will apply. This fee will be at the coach’s discretion.
The total cost in this case would be $1,200 ($1,000 registration + $200 rejoining fee).
